In continuation of their remarkable journey, they have now secured qualification for the $200k LAN event in Finland.

Damjan “kyxsan” Stoilkovski and company’s Spring Invitational mission began with an impeccable performance on the Swiss group stage. The title decider brought about a rematch between ex-Copenhagen Flames and Apeks. This time, the Danish team displayed a stronger performance compared to their earlier showing in the group stage.

Apeks drew first blood in the Scandinavian derby as they secured a close win on Anubis, which was chosen by ex-CPH. The Norwegians could not wrap up the series in the following map as they could not take advantage of their own map choice of Anubis. Ex-CPH won on Ancient by 16-12 to force the third map on Inferno, which ended in a dominant 16-4 victory for Apeks.
