Immortal Arrives on June 2nd

The infamous quote “Don’t you guys have phones?” is probably the first thing you will think of when you hear the name Diablo: Immortal. However, Blizzard seems to have learned from the mistake they made back in 2018, as they are also releasing the game on PC.

What is going on with the PC version?

Unfortunately, while the mobile version will be released on June 2nd , the PC version is going to enter beta somewhere in the summer. If that is the case, we speculate that the PC version will release by the end of the year if the beta does not have some huge bugs or inconveniences.

The PC and mobile versions of the game are confirmed for cross-play, which was expected, but a confirmation is always nice. We really hope that the Warcraft mobile game gets the same treatment, especially if it is a part of the RTS genre because, let us be honest, Warcraft III: Reforged is just not a good time.

Not to be confused with Diablo IV!

Those who are passionate about esports and the esports betting scene probably already know that Diablo: Immortal is not the Diablo IV. While everyone did indeed expect Diablo 4 during the announcement of Diablo: Immortal, which was quite disappointing, that game did get its own announcement at the next year’s Blizzcon in 2019.

Diablo: Immortal actually takes place between the events of Diablo II and Diablo III. It is advertised as an “untold chapter in the Diablo saga.” Considering it is a mobile game, we all expected some kind of port, but it seems like it is its own original thing, just as Blizzard originally announced it.

What are the playable classes?

Considering that the game is taking place between the Diablo II and Diablo III storylines, one would expect some classes from both games. However, the playable classes seem to be more towards the Diablo III game as you will be able to play as the Barbarian, Crusader, Demon Hunter, Monk, Necromancer, and Wizard.

While a lot of fan-favorite classes are making their appearance, that is not the only familiar thing that Diablo: Immortal has in store. Some of the enemies, such as the Skeleton King, Baal, Fahir, and many others, are making their appearance, making us quite excited about this game. As for the gameplay, it honestly seems quite interesting and true to its hack and slash RPG style.
