The former HellRaisers member revealed that he decided to end his professional career after losing interest in the game
Patrik “Zero” Žúdel has announced his retirement from the professional Counter-Strike scene on Twitter. The 24-year-old explained that he doesn’t feel motivated to keep on playing in the competitive circuit, and has thus decided to step away from the game indefinitely.
“I have lost interest in competing and as a result, I am no longer driven to improve my skills in CS,” Zero Tweeted. “I am not interested in pursuing something solely for money.”

Why Zero retired
Zero also briefly discussed his post-gaming plans. He said he wants to explore new avenues of interest and set aside some time for “self study”.
Even though he called it a day, Zero revealed that he would fondly reminisce about his 10-year-long career. He is grateful for the opportunity of pursuing gaming professionally, but it’s now time for him to move on.
Zero is famous for his HellRaisers stint between 2016 and 2017. At HellRaisers, he had Kirill “ANGE1” Karasio, Tomáš “oskar” Šťastný, and Martin “STYKO” Styk as his teammates.
Zero made his ELEAGUE MAJOR debut with the Ukrainian outfit and participated in many other major qualifiers. He was part of the HellRaisers team that won the Copenhagen Games in 2016. He was also a HellRaisers member when they finished second at the DreamHack Open Tours a year later.
Zero had most recently played for SINNERS. He had joined the Czech side as Adam “NEOFRAG” Zouhar’s replacement after the latter left for OG. Before that, he spent two years with GamersLegion between 2020 and 2022. The Slovakian left SINNERS last month, citing personal reasons.
