Before the update, CS2 players were unable to play custom maps with their friends. Although community servers offered a workaround for accessing workshop maps, players were restricted to solo play when hosting a lobby with a workshop map.

The new CS2 update addresses that issue. Moving forward, players will be able to enjoy the wide library of CS2 custom maps with their friends.

This also enables parties to practice workshop maps and formulate new lineups or strategies for competitive games.
