Riot’s Lead Game Designer has released the TFT Patch Schedule for 2023.
Through a Twitter post, Riot developer Stephen ‘Mortdog’ Mortimer has revealed the release dates of every single TFT patch hitting live servers in 2023. TFT’s Lead Game Designer proceeded to pin the patch the patch schedule tweet in his twitter account, a ‘tradition’ the developer has been following since the last 2 years. With the release of Set 8, TFT fans have so much to look forward to in the upcoming year as Teamfight Tactics solidifies it’s Esports with the Golden Spatula Cup and more.
With two patches scheduled to release every month, regular updates are crucial part of Teamfight Tactics. With the ever-changing state of TFT’s meta, champions, traits and items are updated with buffs, nerfs and balance changes. To maintain a constant flow of updates and deploy new content in the game, Riot’s TFT team deploys the balance changes to gather feedback on PBE testing before releasing content on live servers. With a rundown video for each patch, Riot’s Lead Game Designer intends to explain the list of balance changes in the released updates for Teamfight Tactics.
