ARURF Mode (All Random Ultra Rapid Fire)

The ARURF mode grants the player a random champion with the ability to shoot cannons. The developer team is also adding a new effect for the holiday season— whenever the player kills an opponent , fireworks will be shot into the air! The ARURUF mode would be available for a limited time period of 21 days, and will run from the start of Patch 4.0 (January 12) to February 2.

Execute Smite

During All Random Ultra Rapid Fire Mode (ARURF), the dev team is introducing a new mechanic: Execute Smite. It will function passively for junglers and free up a spell slot. This version of Smite still retains the core smite passives, but does not upgrade to Chilling Smite and has no cooldown. We’ll be keeping an eye out on how this performs for possible future use!

[NEW] If you would reduce an Epic monster to 800 health or below, or a large monster to 400 health or below, execute the monster and restore 8% of your maximum health. This execute does not trigger from damage over time effects.

Jungle Expertise:
+20% bonus gold and 20% bonus experience from jungle monsters, but temporarily earn 60%less gold and experience from minions.
+15% Attack Damage and +30% Ability Damage to jungle monsters.
Restore 40 health over 5 seconds in combat against jungle monsters.
Restore 4 mana every second while in the jungle or river.

Wild Rift Patch 4.0 Notes Item Updates

Wild Rift Patch 4.0 aims to fullfill Riot’s untent if helping tanks progide more utility to their team, and gaining more advantage from their agailable items. The current state of the hame didnt allow Tanky supports to reachheir full potential as be seen by their team as a ‘true help’ The newest list of adjustments which include the addition of a new item and a slightly reworked existing item plan to provide more utility to support Tank champion.

Dawnshroud

Dawnshroud provides area of effect damage and reveals whether you’re immobilizing an enemy champion, or tanking an immobilize effect for your team. Dawnshroud is a new item.

Build Path:
Spectre’s Cowl (1100g) + Chainmail (900g) + 700g
Total Gold: 2700g

Stats:
Health: 250
Armor: 50
Magic Resistance: 30

Passive: Dawnbringer: When you immobilize a champion or are immobilized, damage and reveal all nearby enemy champions for 3 seconds, dealing 80+5% bonus health, as magic damage (3 second cooldown).

Randuin’s Omen

Need more anti-crit in your life? How about an anti-crit item that heals back life? While the numbers on the new Determination passive may seem underwhelming compared to its previous iteration, the keyword here is “pre-mitigation”. In practice, tanks will fare better against critical damage–as long as they’re on the offensive. Armed with the new Randuin’s Omen, you are filled with Determination.*

Build Path
Warden’s Mail (1050g) + Giant’s Belt (1000g) + 750g
Total cost: 2800g

Stats
Health: 400
Armor: 55

Passive
Cold Steel: Reduce the Attack Speed of enemies by 15% for 1.5 second when struck by an attack.
Determination: When you are critically struck, gain [12% for melee | 8% for ranged] of the pre-mitigation damage taken as charges of Determination for 5s, up to a maximum of 500 charges. When you attack a champion, consume your Determination to heal for the amount consumed.

Frozen Heart

Frozen Heart receivs  a minor rework as Riot increases the itemt Attack Speed slow, but making it conditional. This iteration rewards tanks that stay on the offensive, while also providing foes with some counterplay to the item.

Build Path: Warden’s Mail (1050g) + Glacial Shroud (1000g) + 650g
Total cost: 2700g

Stats:
Armor: 80
Mana: 200
Ability Haste: 25

Passive: Winter’s Caress: Basic attacks and magic damage caused by you or inflicted upon you will apply stacks of Chill to the enemy champion for 3 seconds. Each stack of Chill slows enemy attack speed by 9%, up to a maximum of 4 stacks or 36% Attack Speed reduction. Each individual ability has a 1 second cooldown on applying Winter’s Caress per target.

Cosmic Drive
It’s difficult to justify buying Cosmic Drive when you’re on a heavy Ability Power scaling champion, because it gives a low amount of Ability Power for such a high cost. So we told the shopkeeper to bring down the cost and upping the Ability Power to make it more competitive with other mage items.
Total cost: 2900g → 2800g
Ability Power: 70 → 75

Lord Dominik’s Regards
This item is a little too gold efficient for its stats, so we’re increasing its overall cost.
Total cost: 3100g → 3200g

Morellonomicon
The earlier patch gave Morellonomicon 75 Ability Power instead of 70, so Riot Games have decided to deploy a small nerf that moves the item back to its intended value.
Ability Power: 75 nerfed to 70

Mortal Reminder
Mortal Reminder receives a slight buff as Riot reduces it cost from 3100g to  3000g. The buff intends to make it easier for champions to purchase it. To help it compete with the other available options, Riot’s Wild Rift team has initiated a cost decrease.
Total Cost: 3100g decreased to 3000g

Spirit Visage
Passive: Increases heals on yourself by 30% → Increases heals and shields on yourself by 30%

Inspiration: Pathfinder
Bonus movement speed in the river: 20 → 30
Bonus movement speed in the river after leaving combat: 10 → 20

Inspiration: Phase Rush
The new Phase Rush has done pretty well since its launch, but we don’t want you to feel forced to try to use your ultimate during the Phase Rush window just so you can capitalize on the maximized haste gained. Instead, we’re going to buff it and remove its interaction with ultimates.
Ability Haste granted: Works for all abilities → Works for basic abilities only
Ability Haste: 10 → 25
