More information on Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 is here.
Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 was revealed as the name of Call of Duty’s 2022 edition last month. However, today we got to see some new artwork, and learn more information about the upcoming release.
Release Date
The 2022 iteration of Call of Duty will be released on October 28th. This is a week sooner than Call of Duty: Vanguard’s release, and two weeks prior to the release of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War in 2020.

While the release date has been confirmed, pre orders have not yet gone live. However, we expect these to become available with the release of a gameplay trailer, which could come on June 8th. This date is speculated due to “ J 8 22” being found within the announcement trailer.

Additionally, some minor details of the story have been revealed, detailing the return of key members of Task Force 141, including Team leader Captain John Price, Sergeant Kyle “Gaz” Garrick, Sergeant “Soap” MacTavish, lone-wolf Simon “Ghost” Riley, and Colonel Alejandro Vargas of the Mexican Special Forces.
We’ll have to wait for more information on Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 to be revealed. However we now have a date to look ahead to as we build up to release.
