The FaZe Clan vs TSM elimination match will crush the dreams of Ascension for one of these teams
Unlike many other teams in this event, these two rosters have not yet competed against one another except for a qualifier game. TSM looked better than FaZe in Split 1 and Mid-Season Face Off – however, after mummAy and TiGG’s addition, FaZe had a decent run in Split 2. With both teams having a good chance of defeating the other, this is going to be an exciting elimination game and here are our predictions.
FaZe Clan
FaZe’s decent 3-2 record in Split 2 can almost be attributed to the luck of sharing a group with some of the weakest teams in the Challengers League, especially since this roster keeps finding itself helpless facing the top dogs. The Bo3 against Guard looked like it was over from the start, with BABYBAY’s team facing a humiliating 2-13 defeat. Conditions weren’t too good on the following map either, even with the Duelist picking up a 302 ACS.

Coming from a 2-3 run in Split 2, expectations were low on gMd’s roster as they failed to take a single map from Moist Moguls in their first Playoffs match. Kanpeki suffered the most on the first map and managed to only get a 0.57 rating through his Assists. TSM looked much stronger on Lotus as they ended the first half with a 7-5 lead but then faced a devastating end in defense, getting only two rounds to their name.
