With less than a week to go, Diablo 4 is almost here. After two betas and Server Slam, the game is almost ready to land in the hands of regular players. So, let’s get right into the information you want and clear up any confusion.
Diablo 4 release date – June 6th/7th 2023, standard release
It couldn’t be more simple than that. On June 6th 2023, players will be able to play Diablo 4 across PC and console platforms. This is a global release, so check below to see the exact time the servers go live in your region.

What is Diablo 4
Diablo 4 is the next entry in the popular Blizzard franchise. One of the most popular action role-playing games on the market, Diablo 4 is highly anticipated in the gaming community. Diablo 4 will release as a full-price title, though it will include an in-game store, and battle pass. While all of these are just cosmetic additions, it’s important for players to know going into the release that not everything in the game is earnable by gameplay.
The game features, at launch, five playable classes:
The Barbarian, featured in Diablo II and Diablo III, can switch weapons during combat effortlessly.
The Sorcerer, making a comeback from the first game and Diablo II, embodies the essence of an elemental mage, proficient in wielding fire, ice, and lightning magic.
The Rogue, making a reappearance from the original game, is a swift and agile combatant adept at seamlessly transitioning between bladed melee combat and ranged attacks with a bow.
The Druid, also returning from Diablo II, boasts the remarkable ability to transform into human, werewolf, and werebear forms, accompanied by mastery over earthen and storm magics.
The Necromancer, a familiar face from Diablo II and Diablo III, harnesses the power of dark magic to summon creatures and execute devastating attacks.
A number of classic classes are not available at launch, though we suspect they’ll be coming soon down the line either as paid DLC or via a future battle pass.
