ATF Shares His Preferred Berlin Major Finals Lineup

Ammar “ATF” Al-Assaf is sitting out of action at the Berlin Major, but he wants to see his Nigma Galaxy teammates go head-to-head in the grand final of the competition

The Berlin Major 2023 has been a wild ride so far, with elite teams vying for the ultimate prize. OG have been making waves with their impressive display of talent and determination, clinching a top 2 spot in the group stage and cementing their spot in the playoffs’ upper bracket. It’s noteworthy that OG are playing without two of their regular players Dmitry “DM” Dorokhin and Evgenii “Chu” Makarov as they could not make it to Germany because of visa issues.

The team’s step-in players, however, have been pulling their weight. OG flew in Ivan “MinD_ContRoL” Ivanov from Nigma Galaxy and Kartik “Kitrak” Rathi from Old G, and their performances have been nothing short of exceptional thus far.

Aster are another side that had to make do with a stand-in player. They brought in Sumail “SumaiL” Hassan from Nigma Galaxy, who is the only non-speaking member on the roster. SumaiL, however, has overcome the communication problems to produce an exceptional performance for the team and lead them to the lower bracket playoffs.

What’s ATF’s Dream Berlin Major Final Lineup?

Ammar “ATF” Al-Assaf, who plays beside SumaiL and MinD_ContRoL at Nigma Galaxy, is rooting for his teammates at the Berlin Major 2023 and wants to see them meet in the grand final.

The Jordanian carry-cum-offlaner appeared as a guest on Janne “Gorgc” Stefanovski’s stream, where he talked about his Nigma Galaxy colleagues at the Berlin Major 2023.

“Let’s go OG. I want OG and Aster Top 2.”

Gorgc was skeptic about Aster’s grand final prospects, but ATF firmly believes that the Chinese side can pull it off.

“What do you mean? I know OG gonna win. I’m already telling you, it’s OG vs Aster (in the finals). Sumail vs MindControl in the finals.”

ATF’s team spirit is on full display as he extends his support to his teammates who are filling in as stand-ins at the Berlin Major. As a former OG player and current teammate of MindControl and SumaiL, Ammar’s desire to see OG and Aster in the grand finals of the tournament comes as no shock. His unwavering belief in OG’s ability to triumph is truly inspiring, given the fact that they have two stand-ins on their roster.
