TSM, a well-known esports organization, has entered the Dota 2 scene. The group acquired Team Undying’s roster. Team Undying welcomes TSM into the world of Dota 2 competitive play as they rejoice at the sponsorship opportunities.

The Fandom of TSM

Since June 2021, the team has been referred to as TSM FTX but is not allowed to use that term in League of Legends and VALORANT due to sponsorship constraints. The team was first seen in 2011, formed during the first season of the Riot Season 1 Championship.

The organization previously hosted teams such as TSM Darkness and Team SoloMid. While dragging around a large fan base, TSM was the first team to ever make it into ten of the first finals for the NA LCS. These actions influenced the decisions of several fans who supported TSM and engaged in esports betting.

TSM is known for being a game-changer in the industry. They’ve already won multiple titles in various divisions, and they’re currently the biggest renaming deal in competitive gaming history.

While still growing in several ways, TSM has also made some of the most significant content creation in the industry. They’ve dominated the world of LoL content creation, whether it’s through their docuseries or signing up content creators like QTCinderella.

TSM Entering Dota 2

TSM is officially entering the Dota 2 esports world with Team Undying. The team has begun preparing for participation in the Dota Pro Circuit 2022 Winter Tour.

Before the 2021 DPC season, the team Undying formed a stack that quickly became one of the top teams in North America. They were led by veterans MoonMeander and DuBu and eventually made it to The International 10, where they competed as an independent organization.

With consistent play and ambition, MoonMeander and his crew made it to the playoffs, where they eventually finished in 13th place, winning $600,300. After maintaining the same lineup for the DPC’s 2022 season, Undying finally broke its third-place streak. It’s been a long time coming for Undying, and they finally got their shot at a major sponsor.

Why the Move

TSM, whose organization includes Super Smash Bros., Fortnite, Valorant, and more, officially unveiled their Dota 2 roster on January 25. This is an excellent deal for TSM as the roster includes players from three regions with more than 20 years of experience.

These players are David “MoonMeander” Tan Boon Yang, DooYoung “DuBu” Kim, Enzo “Timado” Gianoli, Jonas “SabeRLight” Volek, and Jonathan “Bryle” De Guia.

“Signing with TSM is a dream come true, to all the TSM Dota 2 fans out there, expect a new era in NA,” said Moon Meander. The powerful team will compete in the NA Regional finals for the $100,000 price and 380 DPC points playing from February 18 to 20.
