T1 is still in the race

T1 has qualified for this year’s League of Legends World Championship by reaching the LCK Grand Finals. The famous esports team had guaranteed a spot at LoL Worlds 2022 group stage and they are still fighting to make their way out to playoffs. In the meantime, the board is trying its best to support the players and staff who are currently competing in the United States right now, as well as increasing the brand value. Just like the previous year, T1 will produce another Worlds Anthem for the organization.

Last year, the organization worked with Raiden and it looks like they were satisfied with the collaboration as both parties are working together once again. Raiden worked with the rapper CHANGMO and the K-pop singer Baekhyun in the previous anthem but this year new names welcome us.

The Video

The song was teased a while ago but the music video was revealed before the opening day of the League of Legends World Championship 2022 Group Stage. T1’s League of Legends roster appears in the video as well as THE BOYZ members. T1 officials said: “The lyrics express the fans’ energy and passion for the team” about the song.

“We have been looking to work with Raiden and Transparent Arts again since the success of our first song ‘Runner’. T1’s slogan for the 2022 season has been ‘Together as 1’ and Raiden really has outdone himself with our Worlds 2022 anthem ‘Last Man Standing’. The song really captures the moment for the team and will be the soundtrack that guides us to our 4th World Champion! The chorus of the song is my personal favorite and really tells the story of where T1 wants to finish 2022. I’m excited that our fans will get a chance to enjoy this collaboration and I hope they love it as much as we do!” said T1 CEO, Joe Marsh.

For clarification, this anthem is not the official Worlds 2022 Anthem but it is T1’s anthem for the tournament. Riot Games worked with the famous rapper Lil Nas X for the official tournament anthem, titled STAR WALKIN’, which was released a while ago. Last Man Standing is T1’s own anthem which is a concept that they have been doing since last year. T1’s brand value keeps on getting higher and higher thanks to these kinds of collaborations and partnerships being done all around the year.

Looking at their performance right now, it looks like T1 will secure a big amount from the Worlds 2022 prize pool. Despite losing a game, they still look very strong, of course with the leadership of Faker. They are one of the favorites in the tournament for many LoL Worlds 2022 betting enthusiasts.
