Rogue replaced Inspired and Hans Sama ahead of the 2022 LEC Season

The organization officially announced former DWG KIA substitute jungler Malrang and former Team Vitality AD carry Comp as the new members for 2022. They will join  Odoamne, Larssen, and Trymbi for the upcoming Spring Split.

The two players will be coming to replace Inspired and Hans Sama who both left for North America, playing for Evil Geniuses and Team Liquid respectively. The Polish and the French player were two of the core members of the team from 2019, making Rogue a top-tier organization in the span of two years. While they might have lost two very important elements, Rogue have found good enough replacements for 2022.

Malrang and Comp’s careers so far

Malrang started his career as a pro player back in 2017, playing for Ever8 Winners in Challengers Korea. His first stint was very successful, winning the split and qualifying for the LCK 2017 Summer Split. Despite reaching the best League domestically, the team showed its weaknesses, ending last and failing to qualify for the upcoming split. His talent, however, was seen overseas and the TCL team Royal Bandits picked him up.

After playing a short stint and achieving a 2nd place finish, he returned to Winners again before landing on Jin Air Green Wings. Unfortunately, the jungler ended up once again in the worst team of the LCK, only winning one series throughout the whole of 2019. Following the disastrous year, he played for KT Rolster before becoming the starting jungler on DK’s Academy team. Despite the team not having great results, Malrang had some spotlight during the 2021 LCK Summer Split, subbing in when the main team had some roster issues around its bot lane. He might not be one of the best LoL players from Korea but at 21 years old, Malrang can still count on a decent curriculum and has a good potential to make an exploit in the LEC.
