LEC Summer Groups 2023 Betting Preview

Excel vs MAD Lions

It’s no secret that MAD Lions kicked off the Summer Split with a disappointing performance in the Summer Season. Placing seventh after winning the Spring Split Playoffs is slightly concerning, although the BO1 format does make such upsets possible.

Meanwhile, Excel have shown promise after placing third in the opening stage of the Summer Split. Despite this, the LoL odds still favour MAD Lions to bounce back from a weak start and return to their status as being the best in the LEC.

  • Predictions: MAD Lions (2-1) Excel
  • Odds: Excel Outright Win (2.35), MAD Lions Outright Win (1.52)

LEC Summer Groups 2023 Betting Preview

SK Gaming vs Fnatic

Spring was certainly a disaster for Fnatic, in terms of their usual performances. After placing last at the LEC Spring Groups and missing out on attending MSI 2023, they’ve bounced back so far with a second place finish in the LEC Summer Season.

SK Gaming have been less of a rollercoaster, seemingly dedicated to residing in the middle of the pack of the LEC standings. Bearing this in mind League of Legends betting sites favour’s Fnatics current form and history as an organization in this match-up.

  • Predictions: Fnatic (2-0) SK Gaming
  • Odds: SK Gaming Outright Win (4.80), Fnatic Outright Win (1.15)

Team Heretics vs Team BDS

Ranked very closely at the LEC Summer Season, 4th and 5th respectively, Team Heretics and Team BDS are doing their best to break through into the top 3.

Although Team BDS did manage to place second at the LEC Spring Playoffs, it seems the esports odds are placing more importance on recent performances.

On that account, Team Heretics are favoured in this match would should prove to be a close one.

  • Predictions: Team Heretics (2-1) Team BDS
  • Odds: Team Heretics Outright Win (1.65), Team BDS Outright Win (2.10)
