The continental showpiece in Hangzhou, China in 2022 will witness esports athletes vying for gold, silver, and bronze medals in each title, amounting to a grand total of 24 medals that can be won.

At the 2018 Asian Games, esports was included as a demonstration event, and as a result, the medals won by participants did not factor into the overall medal count.
