Fnatic has announced a multi-year deal with crypto betting platform Betify, as per an announcement on April 24. Betify is set to become the official betting partner for Fnatic’s Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) team, partnering with the esports team in what was heralded as a ‘seven-figure’ global partnership.

As part of the new partnership, Betify will appear on Fnatic’s CS2 jersey starting with ESL Pro League Season 19. The organizations will also collaborate to create video content and always-on social coverage of the team. Betify will also team up with Fnatic to have a presence at gaming events with creator activations and more.

The deal also marks Betify’s first global collaboration with an esports organization. The platform has operated as a bookmaker for esports in the past, but before today’s announcement, had stopped short of sponsoring an organization.

Talking on the new partnership, Leyla, Betify’s partner manager stated that: “Partnering with Fnatic isn’t just a business decision for us; it’s a heartfelt choice”

Sam Mathews, Fnatic’s founder and CEO also expressed his excitement over the deal, sharing news of the partnership on LinkedIn. The CEO stated that he was excited to foster a community where Fnatics can ‘engage, compete, and be closer to the team.’

Fnatic is an powerhouse that will celebrate two decades of presence in esports in July of this year. Based in the United Kingdom, the organization operates teams in Apex Legends, League of Legends, VALORANT, and CS2. In Counter-Strike, the team has won three Valve Majors, and is on the hunt for a fourth.

The team’s partnership with Betify makes it just the second UK-based organization to partner with a bookmaker. Fellow London-headquartered esports organization Tundra Esports partnered with Winline in 2023.

Betify is an sports, and esports bookmaker and crypto casino based in Curaçao. The partnership with Fnatic looks to expand the company’s reach. However, currently Betify is not available for use in the United Kingdom.
