How to Watch the NRG Champions Show

NRG hosts a slew of top professional Fortnite players and Fortnite Champion Series (FNCS) winners in the first-ever NRG Champions Show.

Proper offline gatherings in the Fortnite scene have been few and far between since 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. We’ve seen two LAN competitions in the last two years to complement several multi-million dollar FNCS tournaments—all of which occurred online. With a hopeful return to offline events in sight, NRG’s Executive Producer — Grady Rains — decided he couldn’t wait any longer.

He teased an event last month that would take place at the NRG Content Castle (https://estnn.com/fortnite-nrg-grady-rains-to-host-april-lan/), welcoming FNCS Chapter 3 Season 1 Champions from across the globe. Sure enough, Rains brought to life the inaugural NRG Champions Show. We have all the details you’ll need to watch it unfold.

NRG Champions Show: What to Expect

With many top Fortnite players due to attend, the NRG Champions Show promises an intense, yet friendly competition. The event begins tomorrow, April 19, at 2 PM PST / 5 PM EST, only on NRG Aussie Antics’ Twitch channel. A popular content creator for the organization—Aussie Antics will call the action live from the NRG Hot Pockets Content Castle in Los Angeles, CA. It’s not clear what competitions we’ll see, but a teaser trailer revealed two trophies are up for grabs. The team that triumphs will become the best undisputed Fortnite duo.

Confirmed List of Competitors

A select few of Fortnite’s best competitors from five of seven worldwide regions have been confirmed to attend.

  • Here is a list of those attendees:
  • Europe FNCS winners Queasy & Hen
  • NA East FNCS winners Mero & Dukez
  • NA West FNCS winners Snacky & Favs
  • Brazil FNCS winners k1ng & phzin
  • Oceania FNCS winners Basil & Jace
  • NRG players Clix & Deyy

These five duos will participate in various competitions to determine the winner. Queasy, Hen, Mero, Snacky, Favs, phzin, Basil, and Jace claimed the FNCS Championship in Chapter 3 Season 1. Dukez and k1ng respectively had to step in due to the absence of Bugha and Kitoz. Fear not, as these players are the best in their home regions. Clix and Deyy will represent NRG after finishing seventh in Chapter 3 Season 1.

While the individual events are unclear, all teams will need their A-game. There will be no shortage of exciting moments and crazy plays during the competition.

How to Watch the Event

The stream is expected to begin at 2 PM PST and conclude at 5 PM PST on Aussie Antics’ Twitch channel. You’ll want to watch to see who takes home the NRG Champions Show title and call themselves the world’s best duo.
