Lobby Legends Announced in Hearthstone

[ad_1]

While the first Battlegrounds: Lobby Legends is yet to be unveiled, as it is going to be played on April 2nd and 3rd, 2022, Blizzard has already announced the second event of the similar format coming barely more than a month after the first one, on May 14th and 15th.

With the new buddy system implemented earlier this year, we can already see balance changes coming in left and right, which shows that Blizzard actually cares about Battlegrounds. This should be no surprise, as it is the most played game mode at the moment, and we really hope that they keep spicing up the meta before each big event.

How can one qualify for the event?

If you are new to Battlegrounds in Hearthstone, the great thing is that you do not have to invest gold or money in order to acquire cards for the Hearthstone top decks to climb the ranks. Instead, everything you need to win in Battlegrounds is free, as it plays out as an auto-battler.

For the second Lobby Legends, players that can qualify for the event are the ones that are in the top 16 on the ladder in each region by the end of March. As the month ends, 48 players that qualified will be invited to play a qualifying tournament for the main event on April 30th. Of the 48 players, only 12 will be eligible to play at the main event, where they can compete for the incredible prize pool of $50,000.

Where can you watch the event?

Blizzard seems to be embracing the co-streaming of this event as much as possible, as they want the competitors to stream their games and other members of the Hearthstone community. Of course, you will be able to catch the event live on the official Youtube and Twitch channels, but if you happen to have a favorite Hearthstone streamer that you can easily trust with your esports betting funds, you will probably get to watch their stream as well.
