Honestly, even though LA Thieves have won the last Major, their hot and cold performances this season make me think they’re too big of a liability coming into this one. That said, if you’re looking to bet on the 2022 CDL Championship, I advise you to stay away from LA Thieves.
OpTic Texas
OpTic Texas have been enjoying themselves lately. Even though they haven’t been the most consistent team on Majors, their regular season performances were superb. They’ve won the first Major this year too, beating Atlanta Faze 5:2 in the grand finals.
Other Major campaigns weren’t that successful. They didn’t reach a single grand final in the three remaining iterations, which speaks a lot. Plus, their recent roster alteration might have messed something up internally too.
In my opinion, we still haven’t seen Prolute at his best. Yes, he’s had several solid matches, but my expectations were set high so I expect more of him. Everyone else is fine, really. Nothing out of the ordinary – if they can show off consistency early on, OpTic Texas outright bet could be a worthy investment!
