Will the newly formed team be able to ascend to the Dota Pro Circuit?
Ex-Xtreme Gaming Chinese player Ren “old eLeVeN” Yangwei and legendary Carry player and co-owner of Team Aster Xu “BurNIng” Zhilei recently banded together a group of formerly active Dota 2 players. Falling Faint – as they like to call themselves — is officially registered on the page of Valve’s Majors Registration.
These events took place on March 11 and although both old eLeVeN and BurNIng have been inactive in recent times, they will be joined by former EHOME star Chen “Cty” Tianyu, former Aster player Deng “Dstones” Lei, and former Keen Gaming member Liu “yoona” Xiangkun. It’s almost as if Falling Faint is the perfect island of retired misfits joining forces to announce one last ride within the Dota 2 landscape, perhaps inspired by Europe’s Old G.
Among this fresh new lineup, old eLeVeN was recently seen standing in as an Offlaner for PSG.LGD during the freshly-concluded Lima Major.

Dstones most recent outing was as part of Ybb Gaming, who took him in for the 2021-22 DPC. On the other hand, yoona was last seen in August of 2021, when he was playing for Aster.Aries.
Cty may have been out of the scene since his retirement in 2018, but was a high-profile player back in the day. Some of his memorable performances took place at the Frankfurt Major 2015, where his team finished in 4th place following his 5th-6th finish at TI5.
Besides his teammates, BurNIng might be the only one who still swoops in for live streams — albeit occasionally — despite being mostly inactive in these past few years.
Although it can be speculated that old eLeVeN might be playing position three, the position of BurNIng, Dstones and Cty are yet to be confirmed by sources. These three players have always taken position 1 or 2 back when they were actively representing other teams.
Falling Faint’s lineup is as follows:

The Dota community will be able to witness this newly formed team begin their journey at the DPC 2023 Tour 2 Open Qualifier.
