Summary of the fifth week matches in the SEA region.
We see BOOM Esports and Fnatic share the first spot in the fifth week of DPC. Polaris Esports and T1 are in the second spot in the first division. RSG are enjoying the top place and are undefeated in the second division. Talon Esports and Army Geniuses are in second and third place, respectively. Let’s have a look at the results of the matches.
Division I
Execration Vs Nigma Galaxy SEA
The first match had both teams fighting to get a lead. After the laning stage, it was Execration who got a net worth advantage. Once behind, Nigma couldn’t come back into the match even though Execration weren’t playing perfectly. After an enormous gap in gold, Execration finished the match with a score of 15-34 in 35 minutes.
Nigma gave a suiting reply to the first match. They trashed Execration 7-57 in 40 minutes. Although Storm had an advantage against Nigma, Execration failed to make use of any minor positive points.
Nigma fell apart in the last match yet again. After a convincing win in the second, it looked like Nigma would take the series, but they lost 30-25 in 37 minutes.
Fnatic Vs Team SMG
After a tough early game where both teams were at each other’s throat, it was Fnatic who won the first match. Although Death Prophet had a high score, Fnatic just dominated with their Lina and won 32-24 in 41 minutes.
The second match was short and one-sided. Fnatic crushed SMG with Templar Assassin pick, winning the game 26-13 in 28 minutes.
T1 Vs BOOM Esports
One of the most interesting series of the week. T1 and BOOM Esports didn’t really start with a cracking game. In fact, T1 dominated the first match. They had great picks against BOOM’s lineup. The score in the end was 6-16 in 37 minutes.
The second game was a lot more exciting with both teams playing some great Dota. BOOM had Ember who played brilliantly to carry them to victory, with a score of 24-30 in 44 minutes.
The last match was passive with BOOM getting a good amount of gold advantage in the mid-game. However, we saw the advantage shuffling in between the two teams. BOOM finally got the win with a score of 18-22 in 52 minutes.
Neon Esports Vs Polaris Esports
Polaris demolished Neon in the series. The first had a one-sided scoreline with 8-29 in favor of Polaris. Neon were better in the second match, but it wasn’t enough. Polaris won 15-33 in 34 minutes.
BOOM Esports Vs Fnatic
BOOM and Fnatic had a close first match with a score of 14-16 in 34 minutes. The second match saw BOOM much stronger with a better draft, winning the game 28-16 in 33 minutes. The last match also went in BOOM’s bag. However, it was a rather one-sided affair with a scoreline of 22-4 in 22 minutes.
Division II
RSG Vs UD V
The first match saw RSG own UD V with their Ember Spirit pick. Although the match was very well balanced in the early game, it all changed after the 20-minute mark. Ember was pretty helpful in controlling the game and getting the kills for RSG as they looked to take more objectives. The score in the end was 19-33 in RSG’s favor.
We saw UD V show some effects of the previous game in the second match. They were shaky and got punished for every mistake. Credits to RSG for being at the top of their game and not giving much space to UD V. After dictating the game for long enough, RSG took the Barracks and won the match. The score was 24-8 in 25 minutes.
The Apes E-Sport Vs Lilgun
The Apes and Lilgun had one of the most interesting series till now. The first match had a mid Keeper Of The Light playing for Lilgun against a mid Underlord from Apes. As entertaining as it was, Lilgun were the ones who first broke the ice and took the lead. They capitalized well on their KOTL pick who was illusive throughout the game. The Apes lost 39-17 in 27 minutes.
The second match saw The Apes take advantage after 20 minutes in the game. Lilgun made a comeback in between, but it wasn’t enough to tilt the game in their favor. The Apes controlled the game to victory. The score in the end was 22-39 in 43 minutes.
The third match saw Apes ahead once again. However, with a small gap, Lilgun easily surpassed them in net worth. An awful fight around 36 minutes into the game made Apes more of a threat. Lilgun had almost lost control of the game, but they defended high ground and turn fights around to win. The score was 38-37 in 48 minutes.
Motivate.Trust Gaming Vs Lilgun
Lilgun destroyed MG.Trust in the first match. They won 35-17 in 32 minutes. The second match was completely opposite to the first one. This time MG.Trust swept past Lilgun with a score of 3-24 in 21 minutes. The draft from MG.Trust was fantastic and snowballed hard. However, Lilgun got the last laugh after bagging the series in the last match. The third match had a score of 36-19 in 36 minutes.
TNC Predator Vs The Apes E-Sport
TNC Predator won the first match with a score of 36-20 in 48 minutes. The match was competitive, but TNC could keep the lead and win with a decent draft at their disposal.
The second match was a comeback from The Apes, who won 31-14 in 45 minutes. They got ahead in the mid-game and pushed to take objectives at the right times to win. Apes won the series with the last match. They were losing after the laning stage, but bounced back to win 22-30 in 49 minutes.
RSG Vs Talon Esports
RSG and Talon Esports had a fierce first match. As both teams tried to gain an advantage over the other, it was RSG who made the most of their slight gold advantage and position. They won the match 26-36 in 44 minutes.
The second match was over in 31 minutes as Talon flew with a win of 14-22. Lina, who has been one of the most successful heroes in the DPC, played her part in the win.
The last match saw RSG take the lead first. They used the advantage well to dominate the match and restrict Talon from bouncing back. The score in the end was 39-26 in 35 minutes. RSG won the series 2-1.
Motivate.Trust Gaming Vs Army Geniuses
Army Geniuses won the first match after a minor advantage they picked up in the early game. The score was 33-15 in 44 minutes. The second match was similar, but MG.Trust were the first ones to get the lead. Although the score was in favor of AG, it was a competitive match in the early to mid game. AG were the better team in the end and won 46-28 in 49 minutes.
