Storm Spirit is a favorite among carry heroes in Dota 2. The Intelligence hero has an advanced set of skills that can be used to disable enemy heroes and cast spells that can deal massive amounts of damage to multiple enemy units in lanes. 

You can choose Storm Spirit and take the mid lane to earn bonus gold and experience. Storm Spirit can hit enemy units from a maximum range of 480 with his physical attacks to farm gold in the mid lane. He has a base health of 620 and a base mana pool of 351 that helps Storm Spirit remain in the mid lane longer before roaming the map for kills. 

The carry hero has a base Intelligence of 23 and gains 3.9 Intelligence per level. The increased mana pool and Intelligence of Storm Spirit allows him to nuke enemy heroes with magical spells that can drain the health of his opponents. 

Storm Spirit has a projectile speed of 1100, giving the Intelligence hero adequate time to perform stunning combos with his allies throughout the game. The ranged hero can also use his abilities to escape from danger after losing tons of health from enemy encounters in Dota 2. 

You can level up Static Remnant to be able to destroy multiple enemy units at once in any lane. Static Remnant can be used to deal up to 300 damage and affects all enemy units in a radius of 260. Storm Spirit can cast several instances of Static Remnant in one location to deal more damage to enemy units in battles. Static Remnant has a cooldown of 3.5 seconds and consumes 100 mana to be used per cast.

Storm Spirit can cast Electric Vortex to drag enemy units toward him. Electric Vortex can pull enemy units up to a distance of 300 at level 4. Enemy units affected by Electric Vortex will be stunned for up to 2.6 seconds. Storm Spirit can cast Static Remnant before using Electric Vortex to make the enemy units come into contact with Static Remnants in battles. The Intelligence hero can attack enemy units a few times between casting different spells while fighting his opponents to deal bonus damage to them using the passive ability, Overload. 

Electric Vortex provides quick charges of Overload to Storm Spirit before he can cast Static Remnant to nuke enemy heroes. The active ability, Electric Vortex, has a cooldown of 14 seconds and requires 90 mana to be used in the game. You can increase the duration of Electric Vortex by 0.4 seconds at level 20 through
the Talent Tree. 

The carry hero can use his ulti, Ball Lightning, to transform himself into kinetic energy at will. Storm Spirit can travel at lightning speed using his ulti to move closer to enemy heroes during team fights. The ranged hero can deal up to 16 damage to all units it passes through using Ball Lightning in the game. Ball Lightning affects all enemy units in a radius of 200 and has a travel speed of 2300, making Storm Spirit one of the most feared carry heroes in Dota 2. 

Ball Lightning does not have a cooldown, letting the intelligence hero use his ulti freely to move around the map. Storm Spirit gains a charge of Overload every time he casts Ball Lightning in the massively multiplayer game. The Intelligence hero can cast Static Remnant after approaching enemy units with his ulti, Ball Lightning, to nuke his opponents with his magical spells. Players can cast Electric Vortex on enemy units to disable them after getting close to his foes using Ball Lightning in battles. Arcane Boots

Arcane Boots provides 250 mana and 45 movement speed to Storm Spirit. The Intelligence hero can use Arcane Boots to replenish 175 mana to allied units in a radius of 1200. Storm Spirit can cast several instance of Static Remnant in battles without emptying his mana pool in the game using Arcane Boots. The item costs 1300 gold in Dota 2. Arcane Boots has a cooldown of 55 seconds. You can upgrade Arcane Boots to Guardian Greaves to restore health and mana to your allies in the game during team fights with Storm Spirit.  

Veil of Discord

Veil of Discord grants 5 Intelligence, 5 Agility, and 5 Strength to the carry hero. The item provides Basilius Aura to Storm Spirit, increasing the mana regeneration rate by 1.75 of his allies in a radius of 1200. Storm Spirit can cast Magic Weakness on all enemy units in a radius of 600 using Veil of Discord to deal 18% more damage from his spells for up to 16 seconds. Veil of Discord has a cooldown of 22 seconds and requires 50 mana to be used. You can purchase Veil of Discord for 1525 gold in Dota 2. 

Aether Lens

Storm Spirit gains 300 mana and 2.5 mana regeneration rate by purchasing Aether Lens. The item can be bought for 2275 gold. All items and spells have their cast range extended by 225 after equipping Aether Lens in your inventory. You can upgrade Aether Lens to Octarine Core to reduce the cooldown of all of Storm Spirit’s abilities and items by 25%. 

Dagon

Dagon can be a tremendously resourceful item to get instant kills while playing Storm Spirit in Dota 2. You can purchase a Dagon for 2700 gold. Storm Spirit gains 14 Intelligence, 6 Agility, and 6 Strength after buying a Dagon. 

You can cast Dagon on enemy units to deal up to 400 burst damage to them. Storm Spirit can nuke his enemies using Static Remnant and Electric Vortex to weaken them in battles before using Dagon to decimate his opponents in battles. Dagon has a cooldown of 35 seconds and requires 120 mana to be used in the game. You can upgrade Dagon up to 4 times to increase the damage dealt by the item to 800. Purchasing a Dagon can significantly increase your chances of getting Double Kills and Triple Kills in Dota 2.
