Riki – Stealth Kills can be Satisfying

Riki is a carry hero who can strike enemy heroes while being invisible. He can dish out massive amounts of damage with his physical attacks to mitigate his opponents in battles. You can stab enemies from the back to deal more damage to them during team fights. He can increase his Agility attributes throughout the game to make each hit from Riki lethal to enemy heroes.

Riki has a base movement speed of 315, giving him a sharp advantage compared to other enemy in Dota 2. The increased movement speed can be used to jump in on enemy heroes and cast his abilities to silence Riki’s opponents. He gains 1.4 Agility per level that can be used to deal bonus damage to enemy units in lanes while playing Riki in Dota 2 matches.

Riki – Level Up Faster in The Off Lane

The off lane is a good place to start farming gold with Riki. He can take last hits near the tower to stay safe in the off lane. Riki has a base health of 560, requiring people to keep their distance from enemy heroes in lanes to avoid having to teleport to the fountain for healing.

You can buy items like Ring of Health from the Secret Shop near the off lane to increase the health regeneration rate of Riki early in the game. Ring of Health can be bought for 825 gold and provides 6.5 health regeneration to Riki. You can purchase a Vitality Booster from the Secret Shop for 1000 gold to complete a Vanguard for the Stealth Assassin. Vanguard will grant Riki an additional 250 health and a 60% chance to block up to 64 damage from incoming attacks. Riki can survive longer in the off lane with Vanguard equipped in his inventory.

Riki – Use Smoke Screen to Silence Enemies

Riki casts Smoke Screen to get kills

Riki can cast Smoke Screen to counter carry heroes and Intelligence heroes. Smoke Screen can be used to cause all attacks from enemy units to have a 75% chance of missing their hits. It affects enemy units in a radius of 375 and lasts for 6 seconds. You can increase the radius of Smoke Screen by 60 at level 10 through the Talent Tree. Smoke Screen has a cooldown of 11 seconds and consumes 80 mana per cast. Players can also decrease the cooldown of Smoke Screen by 4 seconds
at level 15.

You can strike enemy heroes inside the Smoke Screen to avoid taking damage from magical spells. All enemy units standing within the Smoke Screen will be silenced for the duration of the spell, letting Riki freely hit enemy heroes with physical attacks for bonus damage.

Players can use Blink Strike on enemy heroes with Riki to teleport to their location from a cast range of 900. Enemy units hit by Blink Strike have their movement speed slowed for 0.8 seconds and take a bonus damage of 85 per hit. People have up to 2 charges of Blink Strike, making it harder for enemy heroes to escape Riki during encounters.

His ulti, Cloak and Dagger, is a passive ability that turns Riki invisible when he isn’t attacking enemies or using his abilities. Cloak and Dagger has a fade delay of 2 seconds and lets Riki deal up to 2.2 bonus damage for every Agility attribute he has gained throughout the match while hitting enemies from the back. The Stealth Assassin can tear through multiple enemy heroes without being detected in battles by leveling up his ulti.

You can purchase items like Diffusal Blade and Abyssal Blade to strengthen Riki’s attacks against enemy heroes. Diffusal Blade costs 2500 gold in the game. Riki gains 15 Agility and 10 Intelligence by purchasing Diffusal Blade. Physical attacks from Riki can burn up to 40 mana per hit after purchasing a Diffusal Blade for the Stealth Assassin. You can use Inhibit using Diffusal Blade to slow the movement speed of your opponents for 4 seconds.

Many esports players use Blink Strike to attack enemies from hidden locations and cast Smoke Screen immediately to prevent them from using their abilities. Once the enemy heroes are silenced by Smoke Screen, Riki can use Diffusal Blade to trap his opponents within the Smoke Screen to deal bonus damage. Diffusal Blade has a cooldown of 15 seconds.
