Players can choose their roles as they fight to defend their Ancients in a highly competitive environment. You can be the best carry hero, support hero, or utility hero to achieve victory in the strategy game.

Find out how you can use Crypt Swarm in Dota 2 to nuke enemies with Death Prophet to win over your opponents.

Death Prophet – Nuke Enemies With Crypt Swarms

Death Prophet is an Intelligence hero who can use her abilities to fight enemy heroes and push lanes with ease. The ranged hero can deal a ton of damage to enemy structures and waves of enemy creeps to become a killing machine in Dota 2.

Krobelus has an array of skills that can be helpful to win against enemy heroes in battles. The Intelligence hero can nuke multiple waves of Crypt Swarms to drain her opponents of their health. Crypt Swarm can be used on enemy heroes, creeps, and neutrals to increase the gold per minute (GPM) earned by Death Prophet.

She has a base Intelligence of 24 and gains an additional 3.3 Intelligence per level. Death Prophet can nuke enemy heroes in lanes with Crypt Swarms to keep them away from getting last hits on creeps while farming for gold.

The ranged hero has a projectile speed of 1000, giving her plenty of speed to cast spells fast to deal damage to her enemies. Death Prophet can use Crypt Swarm as early as level one to deal 85 damage to enemy creeps and heroes in lanes. Crypt Swarm has a cast range of 810, making it easier to hit enemy heroes who take shelter near towers. She can cast a Crypt Swarm once every 9 seconds at the start of the game and the spell consumes 80 mana.

The increased mana pool of Krobelus after spawning into the game makes her capable of nuking enemies consistently with Crypt Swarms before the first 5 minutes of a match. A maxed out Crypt Swarm deals up to 310 damage per spell. Crypt Swarm has a cooldown of 6 seconds and requires 110 mana per cast. You can decrease the cooldown of Crypt Swarm by 2 seconds at level 15 through the Talent Tree.

Krobelus can prevent enemy heroes from using their spells by casting Silence during team fights. She can use Silence on a radius of 425. Enemy units affected by Silence will be unable to cast spells for a duration of 6 seconds. Silence has a cooldown of 12 seconds and needs 110 mana per cast.

Death Prophet can use Silence between casting multiple waves of Crypt Swarms to deal damage to enemy heroes. She has a base health of 620, allowing her to take considerable damage in battles while casting waves of Crypt Swarms on enemy heroes and creeps. Krobelus can easily wipe out a wave of enemy creeps with 3 or less Crypt Swarms in a lane.

Support heroes who prefer playing Krobelus in Dota 2 games can take the safe lane to level up faster during the match. Death Prophet can pull enemy creeps from neutral creep camps for additional gold in a lane. The Intelligence hero can buy Boots of Speed from base and have a courier deliver her item by the time she can farm an Energy Booster. She can visit the Secret Shop close to the safe lane to complete Arcane Boots for increased mana throughout the game.

Krobelus can drain the health of an enemy unit by casting Spirit Siphon. She can deal up to 100 damage per second (DPS) for 6 seconds by using Spirit Siphon in a match. Death Prophet requires 80 mana to cast Spirit Siphon on her opponents. Make sure Death Prophet nukes enemies using Crypt Swarm to deal 310 damage to them while Spirit Siphon is active.

Her ulti, Exorcism, can be used to deal physical damage to enemy units and enemy structures in Dota 2. Death Prophet can summon up to 24 spirits that deal 61 damage to enemies per hit. These spirits can attack any enemy unit within a radius of 700 around Krobelus.

Enemy heroes will not be able to attack the spirits summoned by Death Prophet. The damage dealt by Exorcism can pierce through spell immunity, helping Death Prophet strike enemy heroes, such as, Juggernaut and Lifestealer with her spirits for quick kills during battles.

Exorcism passively increases the movement speed of Death Prophet, letting her chase enemies with her ulti. Exorcism has a cooldown of 150 seconds and consumes 400 mana. Many people nuke enemies with Crypt Swarm while Exorcism is active to drive their enemies away from battles and back to their base.
