Due to MOUZ not having a lot of big-name players among their ranks, their recent success has gone under the radar. Apart from the sensational Ilya “m0NESY” Osipov, who seems to be getting better with each CS2 map he plays, G2 looked very underwhelming in their matchups, with the Bosnian duo of Nikola “NiKo” Kovac and Nemanja “hunter” Kovac continuing to underperform. A playoff berth might be the saving grace that the brothers need to elevate their game and give m0NESY the support he needs to carry the squad to the next round of games.
Lastly, G2 are one of the most experienced teams in big pressure matches in recent times, having won both IEM Katowice and IEM Cologne in 2023, besting solid squads along the way. This experience can help them get out of unfavorable situations and remain calm when things get hectic on the server.
