US government wants Gary Bowser in prison for 5 years for producing/selling piracy-enabling game consoles

Nintendo has said this morning that it will be increasing wages for its employees by 10% after calls from the Japanese prime minister, Fumio Kishida, who has asked companies to increase wages across the board in the land of the rising sun. The move will help attract more workers from overseas as Japan is suffering from a falling birth rate and has very low immigration compared to other countries. Nintendo president Shuntaro Furukawa told investors that the move is ” important for our long-term growth to secure our workforce.” Mr. Furukawa was asked about the Kyoto-based company’s successor to the Nintendo Switch, but he declined to comment on that.. Nintendo’s president also said that the company does not plan to raise video game software or console prices, but would consider doing so if circumstances demanded it.
