Recently, Netflix has had success with the animated series Sonic Prime. Not all of Sonic Prime’s episodes have been released yet, but in the meantime, there is another show that gamers can look forward to in the future. An Assassin’s Creed series is in the works. However, there has been a new update in regards to the team producing the series.

You see, Collider’s Steven Weintraub spoke with the show-runner of the series, Jeb Stuart. During an interview focused on Season 2 of Vikings: Valhalla, Stuart was asked about Assassin’s Creed. Stuart has confirmed that he is “no longer involved” with the project.

As for why this happened, Weintraub asked Stuart about it. Stuart said that “I think it was a little bit of a move of executives from LA to London, and it allowed the London group who, unfortunately, had to inherit my vision of what it was instead of getting to develop their own vision”. That all said, there doesn’t seem to be any bad blood between the parties involved. In fact, Stuart even mentions that “I know it’s going to be great whenever it comes out. I think the Ubisoft guys are fantastic. I think it’s a terrific franchise. It was just a good, mutual time to move on for both sides”.
