The latest Japanese boxed-video game software and hardware charts have come through for the two weeks spanning 26th December, 2022 to 8th January, 2023. The No.1 games for the start of 2023 were the latest latest Pokemon adventures, Pokemon Scarlet & Violet, which show no sign of slowing down in the land of the rising sun. The Nintendo Switch family of systems continue to be the best-selling dedicated video game hardware in Japan, shifting an additional 250,718 units in two weeks, which is impressive post Christmas.
