Japanese website Anime Anime recently asked its extensive user base which video games franchises they would most like to see turned into an anime series, and the results were fairly surprising. You may have thought that The Legend of Zelda series would have the most wanted anime adaptation, however it turns out that it was the mighty Splatoon franchise which claimed the top spot in the poll. 1,609 Japanese anime fans responded to the survey by Anime Anime and here’s their top ten:

- Undertale
- Fire Emblem: Three Houses
- Animal Crossing
- Kingdom Hearts
- Minecraft
