VALORANT: Latest Exciting Updates 4.05

[ad_1]

AGENT UPDATES:
BRIMSTONE

He’s known as “Brimmy with the stimmy” by some. While it’s been interesting to see how you’ve all used Brimstone’s new Stim Beacon balance in Valorant the new ways, we believe that having two stims makes it less important to deploy it at the proper time.

The adjustments listed below are our attempt to remedy this while maintaining Brimstone’s polished character as a “bursty” execution excellence.

  • Stim Beacon
    • Charges reduced 2 >>> 1
    • Cost increased 100 >>> 200

UPDATES TO THE GAME SYSTEM

Added the option to use auto-generated codes to import and export different crosshair settings.
Go to Settings >> Crosshair tab >> click on the symbol that looks like an arrow pointing up next to Crosshair Profile to export and share your own crosshair settings (it looks like an up arrow chilling in the middle of a bowl). The code that was produced automatically will be copied to your clipboard.

Go to Settings >> Crosshair tab >> click on the symbol that looks like an arrow pointing down next to Crosshair Profile to import crosshair settings. Click the “Import” button after entering or pasting the code in the supplied field.
The imported settings should be reflected in the crosshair preview at the top of the Settings Menu.

The “Prioritize Strongest Weapon” option has been updated.

The purpose of this option is for players to be able to move fast with melee equipped and be combat-ready after activating an ability or interacting with the Spike, ult orbs, and other such items. There were two modifications made.

The ‘Prioritize Strongest Weapon’ setting has been reworked.
Prioritizes: Auto-Equip has been renamed. Most Recent | Most Powerful
Priority system has been updated to allow weapon-like abilities (previous priority was Primary > Secondary > Melee).

Melee (Ultimate & Primary) > (Secondary & Chamber Pistol) > Melee (Ultimate & Primary) > Melee (Secondary & Chamber Pistol) > Melee (Ultimate & Primary)
Select the weapon that was most recently equipped to resolve priority ties.

A new option has been added: Don’t Auto-Equip Melee.
When looking for the most recent weapon to auto-equip, it skips through the melee.
Without affecting any other auto-equip behaviour, this option prevents the melee from being pulled back out after channelling or casting abilities.

Note that ‘equip’ inputs can still be queued (for example, hitting ‘1’ mid-dash to equip your main when the dash is completed).

The default auto-equip behaviour was to draw out the most recently equipped weapon if you didn’t queue up a separate equip action.

The additional options are designed to let you customise that behaviour based on your preferences.

BUGS
Competitive

Agents: Fixed an issue that caused the Leave Match button to behave erroneously for PBE players.

Fixed a bug where Sova’s Recon Bolt was destroyed by Brimstone’s Orbital Strike despite the fact that the Recon Bolt was well outside of the Social Zone.

Fixed an issue where you couldn’t interact with the mic icon on the scoreboard after hovering your cursor over it.
