TFT Oceanic Championship expands for Gizmos & Gadgets with new Set 6 format

The Oceanic TFT Gizmos & Gadgets Series, hosted by ORDER, is expanding with a new format in Set 6 following a successful run during Set 5 and Reckoning. There is $13,500 on offer, with plenty of domestic TFT action planned from November to March 2022.

After yet another successful TFT Worlds campaign saw Oceania’s best make the Top 8 in Reckoning, the regional qualifier format is getting a facelift in Set 6.

The Oceanic TFT Gizmos & Gadgets Series will be split into five different components, starting with Open Qualifiers in November 2021 and running all the way through to the 24-player Regional Finals on March 25-27, 2022.

A new Challenger Series event has been added, which are closed invite-only tournaments with direct progression to both February’s Mid-Set Invitational and the Regional Finals.

Players can qualify for the Challenger Series tournaments through leaderboard snapshots or solid performances in the Open Qualifiers.

There are now more chances to make the Regional Finals after the Mid-Set Invitational too thanks to the Challengers Series, as well as a Set 6.5 ranked leaderboard.

At the end of it all, one Oceanic player will qualify for the TFT Gizmos & Gadgets Championship.

There is $13,500 on offer across the Oceanic TFT Gizmos & Gadgets Series, with all events except the Arcanist Cup, Innovator Cup, and Scholar Cup (Open Qualifiers) being officially broadcasted on the ORDER Twitch channel.

The Oceanic TFT Gizmos & Gadgets Series kicks off on November 27-28 with the Arcanist Cup, with eight spots at the Mid-Set Invitational on the line. Registrations are open on the OCE TFT website.
