T1

Although the T1 Valoarnt team has played in the NA region since the game’s launch in 2020, they got into Pacific League after obtaining the franchise slot from here. They fielded a full Korean roster ahead of the Pacific League, consisting of players with tier-1 experience, such as xeta, ban, and Sayaplayer. They had a tough time in the LOCK//IN event, bowing out of the tournament in the first round after losing to Furia. Nevertheless, With such a team that has both the experience of the highest stage of Vaorant and the firepower to match any team in the world, they are one of the favorites to win it all in the Pacific.

Player to Watch

Sayaplayer was among the best duelists in the world last season. Let’s keep an eye on him to see if he can live up to his reputation in this event.

Global Esports

Following a lackluster showing in the LOCK//IN event, Global Esports are hell-bent on proving their worth on the biggest stages of Valorant. The sole representative of South Asia in the Pacific League is the only team in the franchise leagues to have a 7-man roster. This turned out to be a blessing as the Indian org had to tackle visa issues. They will now play the first match without the Indian duo, Ganesh “SkRossi” Gangadhar and Abhirup “Lightningfast” Choudhury. It will be interesting to see how the former XSET IGL, AYRIN, lead his time in the absence of two of the core members.
