PRX and DFM are facing each other after three months on the second day of VCT 2023 Pacific.

This match is a grand opportunity for the Japanese team to finally show their potential since Paper Rex will be present on the stage as the favorites. The last time these two teams collided in ONE Pro Invitational, PRX had the upper hand, as expected by many. It’ll be tough for DFM to handle the aggressive playstyle of the Singaporeans; still, we expect nothing less than a fair matchup.

Paper Rex have proven they are part of the same conversations as the LOUDs and FNATICs of the professional Valorant scene. However, they are yet to cement their name in tier 1 events.

The Japanese team was overwhelmed by Giants Gaming in LOCK//IN, and they are yet to show convincing results, judging from their recent performances. However, the Japanese crowd and the “Korean Jett” fans will cheer for DFM as they face a powerful franchise team.

The underdogs will need to put up a great fight, but even then, it will be hard to break apart Paper Rex’s experience and raw skills. This series will be an easy 2-0 victory for the Singaporean roster.

Paper Rex will want to pick Lotus, while DetonatioN FocusMe will go for Haven. Pearl will be the decider map, but we will most likely not see it.
