In the top three Contenders teams of all times are these guys, O2 Blast. San Francisco Shock’s partnered Contenders team. Placing first in both Contenders Korea and Spring Stage Open, O2 Blast are favored over all contenders teams, and even some Overwatch League teams! Dallas Fuel is possibly the easiest Overwatch League team to be pit against. If O2 Blast can just take a win against them in this match, they’ll be in the finals of the Spring Stage Kockouts East. Their position is already impressive, and still they have the opportunity to go even futher.

The Dallas Fuel have so far cruised by with a win against a Contenders team, and a barely impressive showing against the Seoul Infernal, a game which they were already expected to lose. Not much of surprise have come out of the Fuel yet in the Spring Stage Knockouts East, other than their map win against the Seoul Infernal. Now, against a team that has proven to be better than even some Overwatch League teams, the Dallas Fuel will have to play the best they ever have just to win against a Contenders team. While it isn’t likely, it also isn’t impossible for this to be a turning point for Dallas.
