The ever-popular Moogle Treasure Trove returns to FFXIV next week until patch 6.4. Here is everything you need to know!
The next patch for the critically acclaimed MMORPG Final Fantasy XIV (which you can still try for free) is still a month or so off. But that doesn’t mean that the team at Square Enix won’t provide you with the means to kill some time.
On April 24th, the ever-popular Moogle Treasure Trove returns and will remain until the next major update arrives in late May 2023.
Here players can earn Irregular Tomestones of Mendacity by participating in content and exchanging them for various rewards. Ranging from new hairstyles to even an exclusive mount!
How to Earn Irregular Tomestones of Mendacity in FFXIV
Like always, you earn Irregular Tomestones by completing different duties in Final Fantasy XIV. Depending on the difficulty and or the content you’ll be awarded a different number of Irregular Tomestones.
For example, you get 7 of them by completing The Tower at Paradigm’s Breach or The Praetorium. Do keep in mind that you’ll only be rewarded Tomestones if you complete the duty with other players and under Level Sync.

Where to exchange Irregular Tomestones of Mendacity for the Moogle Treasure Trove
Like always, you can exchange your Irregular Tomestones at the Itinerant Moogle in one of the three starting cities.
In the Lower Decks of Limsa Lominsa right next to the Aetheryte. In Ul’dah’s Steps of Nald if you walk straight out of the Aetheryte chamber and in New Gridania at the crossing leading to the Archer’s Guild and the Adventurers Guild.
The NPC will remain there until Patch 6.5 but note that you can not obtain more Irregular Tomestones of Mendacity after 6.4 drops.

How to Farm Irregular Tomestones Quickly
But don’t worry, we’ll throw you a bone to save you at least some sanity while farming Irregular Tomestones this time around. The secret tricks that YoshiP doesn’t want you to know about.
All the Alexander Raids reward you with two Irregular Tomestones per run. The first raid of the first tier, Alexander – Fist of the Father is a relatively short instance if you can get a bunch of decently geared players together.
Functions even better if you’re going in with an 8-man group of armed-to-the-teeth Blue Mages.
The instance only takes 2-4 minutes depending on your team’s capabilities, turning grinding it into a cakewalk. You’ll probably spend more time loading in and out of the instance than actually fighting.
