Escape From Tarkov Gunsmith Part 2 Quest Details
Similar to the initial stage of the quest, the Escape From Tarkov Gunsmith Part 2 quest task is to provide Mechanic with a firearm that meets certain specifications. This time, the weapon required is an AKS-74U with the following specifications:
- Zenit B-11 handguard
- 60-round magazine
- No more than six slots
- Over 58 ergonomics
- Less than 550 overall recoil (horizontal and vertical combined)
- Sighting range over 100
- 3.5kg or less
- Over 60 durability
The quest description from Mechanic does not mention that the gun needs to have over 60 durability, but it’s a requirement to complete the quest. However, you will receive a new AKS-74U when you accept the quest, so you can use that one. If you’ve already used it, you can acquire one from Prapor after completing the Debut quest, or through the flea market in Escape From Tarkov.
To begin this quest, you must be at least level 11, and upon completion, you will be rewarded with 4000 EXP, 60,000 Roubles, 2 capacitors, 2 bundles of wires, and an increase of 0.02 to your Mechanic reputation.
