The first European RMR for the BLAST.tv Paris Major starts off with Virtus.Pro vs SAW
It’s not easy for a well-known esports organization to have to change its name, but such has been the plight of former all-Polish and now Russian side Virtus.pro. After being called Players and Outsiders, the organization is now back to their other Major-winning moniker Virtus.pro. In their first step towards Paris, they’ll be facing Portuguese side SAW, who have come up the European ranks with a hard grind and have had a few impressive showings lately. There has rarely been as steep a downfall for a Major-winning team as Virtus.pro has experienced. Since their landmark triumph at the Intel Extreme Masters Rio Major last season, which many postulated could usher in a new era for the team, the CIS squad has been utterly unimpressive.
