BLAST Premier Spring Final 2023 Groups Announced

BLAST has disclosed the group stage seeding for BLAS Premier Spring Final 2023

BLAST has revealed the BLAST Premier Spring Final 2023 groups on its official website. Scheduled to be held from June 7 to 11 in the United States capital, this tournament will feature eight teams competing for a total prize pool of $425,000, as well as the opportunity to secure a place in the highly anticipated BLAST Premier World Final 2023.

IEM Rio 2023 and Paris Major 2023 champions Vitality will headline Group A. Cloud9, who surprisingly failed to qualify for the Paris Major 2023 finals, are favorites to challenge the French team for Group A supremacy. The group also features G2, who have suffered some disappointing results following their IEM Katowice 2023 triumph. BLAST Premier: Spring American Showdown 2023 champions Imperial round off the quartet.

In Group B, we have current Intel Grand Slam champions FaZe Clan. IEM Rio 2023 runner-ups and Paris Major 2023 semifinalists Heroic will challenge the American powerhouse for the Group B top spot. The group also consists of Danish bigshots Astralis and North American heavyweights Complexity. Both teams have relished S-tier glory before, but their recent performances have taken somewhat of a downward turn. They will, however, hope to end their trophy drought in Washington.

The group stage of the tournament will unfold in a Double Elimination (GSL) best-of-three format, where teams will compete against each other. In each group, three teams will successfully advance to the playoffs. The group winner will directly move on to the semi-finals, while the teams that finish second in their respective groups will progress to the quarter-finals.
