Complexity decided to let go of Anton “AntO_oNNN” Van Gorp, who had been working as an assistant coach at the team since 2019
After a four-year tenure with Complexity, Anton “AntO_oNNN” Van Gorp took to Twitter to announce his departure from the organization. The news comes in the wake of the team’s departure from the BLAST Paris Major Challengers Stage, indicating a new chapter for both the Belgian and the organization.
After almost 4 years my time with @Complexity has come to an end. I will cherish the good moments for now. My DM’s and mail are open as I’m looking for new opportunities as Head Coach / Assistant Coach or even as broadcast talent(weather man?).

Complexity’s journey through 2023 has been a rollercoaster ride. Their campaign kicked off with a bang, securing solid results and reaching a peak ranking of No. 8 in the world following their notable performance at IEM Katowice. As the year went on, however, the team faced varying degrees of difficulty, showcasing the unpredictable nature of competitive Counter-Strike.
Complexity’s fortunes have taken a downturn since their impressive performance at Katowice. The team have seen a significant drop in their global ranking, now sitting outside the top 20. Disappointing results, including a last-place finish at EPL Season 17 and an early exit at ESL Challenger Melbourne, have contributed to their decline. The recent Paris Major Challengers Stage ended in a 12-14th place finish, adding to their string of unfavorable outcomes.
Joining Complexity as an analyst in 2019, AntO_oNNN quickly established himself as a valuable asset. His commitment and knowledge of the game led to his promotion to Assistant Coach in 2020. Throughout his journey with the team, he experienced the transitions of multiple rosters. Starting with a primarily North American lineup, he adapted seamlessly to the European ‘Juggernaut’ roster, working alongside exceptional talents like Benjamin “blameF” Bremer. As AntO_oNNN concludes his time with Complexity, the organization expresses gratitude for his contributions and wishes him success in his future endeavors.
Throughout his tenure, the 27-year-old made significant contributions to Complexity’s competitive journey. His guidance and mentorship were evident during the team’s participation in two Majors: the PGL Major Antwerp and the BLAST.tv Paris Major. Under his tutelage, the team reached new heights with their impressive 7-8th place finish at IEM Katowice this year.
