9INE commit their long-term future to their current lineup
In preparation for the upcoming transition to Counter-Strike 2, 9INE has opted to extend the contracts of their existing roster. The team’s objective is clear: secure a spot in the highly anticipated PGL CS2 Copenhagen Major set to take place in March 2024, while also aiming to participate in other prestigious tournaments throughout 2023.

In a remarkable revival of their CSGO division, 9INE brought aboard Wiktor “mynio” Kruk and his talented crew in August 2022. This move came after a nine-month hiatus following the departure of their Swedish roster, signaling the organization’s renewed commitment to the competitive Counter-Strike scene.
The addition of Olek “hades” Miskiewicz in January propelled the Polish squad to remarkable heights as they secured qualifications for both the BLAST Premier Spring Showdown and IEM Rio tournaments.
9INE’s remarkable climb in the rankings can be attributed to their cohesive lineup and tactical expertise, particularly on maps such as Vertigo. Starting the year at No. 44, the team’s exceptional performance led them to reach their peak position at No. 17.
Piotr “nawrot” Nawrocki and his team achieved a significant milestone by becoming the first Polish squad in almost five years to secure qualification for a Valve-sponsored event. Their exceptional performance in the European RMR tournament, where they swept through with a flawless 3-0 record, demonstrated their caliber. Their fortunes turned sour in the Legends stage of the Paris Major, however, as they failed to replicate their earlier success, exiting the event with an unfortunate 0-3 record.
“We are thrilled to announce the re-signing of our full Polish roster, with a clear main objective: to qualify for the first CS2 major,” 9INE’s Linkedin announcement read. “This team made history by becoming the first all-Polish roster to qualify for a major in half a decade. With their sights set on the PGL CS2 Major Copenhagen 2024, they are primed to qualify for two consecutive majors.”
