2022 turns out to be an incredible year with the release of two sequels for PlayStation

Sony’s priority has always been on top in terms of bringing out impressive and excellent video games. Moreover, there’s no doubt that PS5 saw some fantastic game releases in the year 2021. In the first quarter of 2021, the majority of releases carried out by Sony were either multi-platform or next-gen upgrades for PS4 titles.

While 2021 was considered quite a busy year for PlayStation, 2022 seems to be even busier, as delays imposed over the Sony’s biggest exclusives are pushed into this year. With 2021 behind us, let’s have a sneak peek over what PlayStation has in store for 2022.

1. Horizon Forbidden West

It is a highly awaited sequel of Guerrilla Games which is scheduled to release on February 18, 2022. The game will give an insight into Aloy’s upgraded spears, unexplored lands demolished and wrecked by vicious storms.

2. God of War Ragnarok

It is still quite early to reveal but nevertheless there is no harm in getting a sneak peek into what is expected in God of War Ragnarok. The game is based on Norse mythology. The storyline enfolds the plot that unveils the death of Norse Gods and extends to deaths of Aesir and Baldur at the hands of Kratos’ axe.
