Group A Standings

  1. Fnatic – 4 Wins / 1 Loss
  2. Evil Geniuses – 3 Wins / 2 Losses
  3. LOUD – 3 Wins / 2 Losses
  4. Detonation FocusMe – 3 Wins / 2 Losses
  5. Beyond Gaming – 2 Wins / 3 Losses
  6. Chiefs eSports Club – 0 Wins / 5 Losses

Filling the LCL’s spot from the LEC, Fnatic had pure domination throughout the stage. The European team almost won every competition but they failed to have a clean sheet after falling down to LOUD. Still, they managed to take down Evil Geniuses and Beyond Gaming to qualify for the main event automatically. Evil Geniuses on the other hand saw two losses but still did a decent job of securing the second spot. They are not going to play the first elimination match but wait for their opponent to get the third slot in the Worlds 2022 Group Stage. The Brazilian team, LOUD, pulled out incredible upsets throughout the tournament and they clinched the third spot. Their win against Fnatic gifted them the third spot in a way as FNC was their aim because they are at a similar level with Detonation FocusMe and Chiefs eSports Club. LOUD couldn’t get it done in the last stage though, falling down to Evil Geniuses and losing the second spot. Detonation FocusMe is the latest team to qualify for the second round with three wins and two losses. Beyond and Chiefs have been eliminated. Beyond looked like one of the contenders on paper but they failed to perform at the highest level which was shocking, especially for LoL betting.

  6. DenizBank İstanbul Wildcats – 0 Wins / 5 Losses

The Worlds 2022 Play-In Round 1 Group B featured two of the most powerful teams of the stage, DRX and Royal Never Give Up. The LCK team won the most awaited battle, especially for the LoL Worlds betting enthusiasts and didn’t make any other mistakes to end their run without a single loss. DRX has qualified for the main event. Royal Never Give Up has lost one game and smurfed on its other opponents throughout the stage. They are going to face the winner of the LOUD-DFM matchup in the second round. MAD Lions came right after them as expected with three wins and two losses. They are going to compete with Saigon Buffalo in the second round and the winner of that series will come up against Evil Geniuses. Saigon Buffalo grabbed two wins and three losses throughout the tournament. The home team Isurus and the Turkish representative İstanbul Wildcats have also been eliminated.
