Mother series creator tells fans to talk to Nintendo about Mother 3 western release

Shigesato Itoi is most known for being the creator of the Mother series, also known as EarthBound. The series hasn’t had any new entries in many years, but it has developed quite a following since. Many Nintendo fans have been asking for the game to be localized in western regions, but Nintendo hasn’t been interested.

The fan demand for a localization of the game got louder today, thanks to the news that Japan would be getting the game on their Game Boy Advance Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack library. Some fans even contacted Itoi himself on social media about the matter. Itoi has responded to fans, saying that they need to talk to Nintendo about it and not him.
