LEC Season Finals 2023 Format and Schedule
After a season of competition, nothing else matters except making it to Worlds 2023. This event is the last event of the LEC season as outlined in our LEC betting guide.
To do so, the following best six teams from the entire season have earned their spot as follows:
- Championship Points – Team BDS, Excel Esports, SK Gaming, Fnatic
- Winter & Summer – G2 Esports
- Spring – MAD Lions
The only thing that stands in the way of these teams from making it to Worlds is a double elimination bracket with BO5 matches, offering fantastic League of Legends betting.

LEC Season Finals 2023 Betting Predictions
MAD Lions vs Excel Esports
We’re not sure where MAD Lions have gone ever since winning the Spring Playoffs earlier this year. After competing at MSI, they fell to a poor 7th place at LEC Summer in a drastic change of form – they’ve been on the downhill. So although they have the second most LEC Championship Points, they haven’t been themselves in a whole Split.
Meanwhile, Excel has, performed rather well, placing in the top spot at LEC Summer Groups and placing second at the LEC Summer Playoffs 2023. Considering this excellent form, MAD Lions are not favoured to come out on top here, with Excel looking to take the opportunity to make it deeper into the LEC Season Finals and claim a Worlds seed according to League of Legends betting sites.
The only way this series doesn’t go as predicted is if MAD Lions return to their Split form.
- Predictions: MAD Lions (1-3) Excel Esports
- Odds: MAD Lions Outright Win (+157), Excel Esports Outright Win (-213)

G2 Esports vs Team BDS
On the other hand, the other semifinal match-up is a lot less arguable.
G2 Esports, the most dominant team in the LEC, returned to their throne for the Summer Split, constantly winning at every stage of the competition.
Meanwhile, Team BDS has scraped by at the top, earning the third most LEC Championship Points thanks to their impressive consistency.
However, their consistency has only led them to third and will likely result in them losing to the heavy favourites of G2 Esports here.
- Predictions: G2 Esports (3-0) Team BDS
- Odds: G2 Esports Outright Win (-1667), Team BDS Outright Win (+690)
