GEN vs DK (Game 1)
Ryze for Chovy and Kayn for Canyon to start our LCK vs LCK series. An exciting start to a game as Canyon found a great level one invade and an early top gank, but a miscalculation meant they couldn’t get the kill, and GEN got the first blood with a Chovy roam. The early game was very hectic and full of fights, including a Herald fight that went to DK, which meant a 10-minute transformation for Canyon’s Kayn. And despite a 30 cs GEN lead in bot lane, this early transformation meant DK turned the gold lead to their side. But DK overestimated their lead and tried to dive the tier two bot lane tower. It went disastrous as they failed to get any kills and gave Chovy three. These kills were crucial as in the next drake fight, multiple GEN members lived with very low HPs while Ryze dealt massive damage back. The won fight gave GEN a free Baron. Another last-ditch fight by DK also went sideways in the mid lane, and GEN managed to put a fast end to the game and took a 1-0 lead.

GEN vs DK (Game 2)
GEN managed to get Yuumi once again in the draft, on top of the Yone counter for Chovy. And the counter pick paid off very early as a great gank from Peanut gave the star mid laner the first blood. But Canyon was once again able to keep his team in the lead with his ganks and by taking the first Herald. DK had over 1k lead during mid game and the drakes were tied despite multiple kills GEN found. The game was slowing down while GEN looked like they were getting the upper hand with the game’s tempo when DK found a pick on a stray cat and started Baron. But a great steal from Peanut gave the objective and the gold lead to GEN. The game turned into a couple of minutes of chaos after this, as DK took fight after fight individually, and gave multiple kills and the Soul point to their opponents.
DK got themselves an inhibitor and denied the Soul on the back of great map movement, an overchase from GEN and a great play from ShowMaker. The game almost ended during another Baron flip from DK, where they almost got aced because of the multiple Guardian Angels on GEN. But only two living GEN members meant the game continued, but with them taking Soul. Now massively behind, DK gave the Baron a third try, also not successful. This time GEN managed to get the clean ace and brought the series score to 2-0.

- Kills: 11 – 17
- Turrets: 5 – 10

- Barons: 0 – 1
GEN vs DK (Game 3)
Much better start to Game 3 by DK from the draft as they finally banned Yuumi. Unfortunately, Canyon started out the game getting caught during an invade and giving over first blood, but he recovered with a good top lane dive, the first Herald and the first drake. A favorable bot lane matchup meant DK had more chances to make early game moves, which gave them a 3k lead and let them stack early drakes while GEN was always on the back foot. The lead grow when DK sieged the mid lane tower with the Rift Herald and found four kills as ShowMaker’s Swain dominated the fight which then turned into a sub-20-minute Hextech Soul point. DK’s control over the map was unchallenged and they found multiple picks in a row. These picks first turned into the Soul, then a Baron. GEN tried to contest the Baron but they were nearly 10k gold behind and they just got aced. DK had enough time to end the game with the Baron and they gave themselves another life.
