After surviving the Group Stage, every BO5 is a chance for a team to either move on to the Upper Bracket Semifinals or to fall to the Lower Bracket Round 2 – let’s look at the TI12 odds.
Team Spirit vs Virtus.pro Prediction
The TI betting odds don’t get any more one-sided than they are for the opening match between Team Spirit and Virtus.pro.
Team Spirit, who topped Group A and are the favourites after winning both DreamLeague Season 21 and Riyadh Masters, have odds of -1000 to walk away as champions here. Meanwhile, Virtus.pro is massively unfavoured after squeaking out of Group C without a single win, as evident in their waning +544 odds in this match-up.
- Prediction: Team Spirit (3-0) Virtus.pro
- Odds: Team Spirit Win (-1000), Virtus.pro Win (+544)
- LoL Betting Site: GG.Bet
Team Liquid vs Talon Esports Prediction
On the international stage, Western Europe remains the dominant region for competitive Dota. Accordingly, Team Liquid’s outright odds of -256 have them winning their Upper Bracket Quarterfinal against Talon Esports after a strong season of reaching the podium at Dota 2 Majors.
While talons tend to cut, Talon Esports haven’t been the sharpest team at this event. After placing 3rd in Group D, Talon haven’t had the easiest draw here, as the odds of +190 do suggest Talon Esports to be the underdogs here.
Team Liquid look to win, but it shouldn’t be that easy – a tight match great for any TI12 bonuses.
- Prediction: Team Liquid (3-1) Talon Esports
- Odds: Team Liquid Win (-256), Talon Esports Win (+190)
- LoL Betting Site: GG.Bet
LGD Gaming vs 9Pandas Prediction
As we predicted in our TI power rankings, LGD Gaming have found the perfect moment to peak in their season – at The International. Morevoer, they surprised the community after topping Group C, taking down the favourites of Gaimin Gladiators in the process.
On the other hand, 9Pandas have only disappointed so far at the event, with the EEU contender only managing a third place in Group A on the TI standings.
Bearing these storylines in mind, it’s no wonder that the LGD Gaming Outright Odds are at –286 and 9Pandas Outright Odds sit at +209.
- Prediction: LGD Gaming (3-1) 9Pandas
- Odds: LGD Gaming Win (-286), 9Pandas Win (+209)
- LoL Betting Site: GG.Bet
nouns vs Azure Ray Prediction
As the sleeper match out of the four Upper Bracket matches, not many Dota 2 TI betting sites predicted both of these teams to make it out of the Group as third seeds.
Naturally, as the seed from China, and also managing to secure a win in their Group, the Azure Ray Outright Odds of –263 paint a picture which favours a win for them here. While nouns did surprise by making it this far, they did so without winning a match, justifying their odds at +193.
- Prediction: nouns (1-3) Azure Ray
- Odds: nouns Win (+193), Azure Ray Win (-263)
- LoL Betting Site: GG.Bet
