The success of the first-ever Twitch Rivals Zero Build Fortnite tournament was undeniable. Tens of thousands tuned in to watch popular content creators and other players compete for a hefty prize pool. Fortnite legend Turner “Tfue” Tenney triumphed in the inaugural event alongside teammates Dennis “Cloakzy” Lepore and Scoped to the tune of 135 points. Other well-known players such as NickEh30, NateHill and Ninja found themselves atop the leaderboard.
Today, Twitch Rivals announced a second Zero Build tournament with another $300K USD on the line. Like the last outing, Twitch divided the prize pool evenly between Latin America, Europe and North America. Each region will compete for a share of $100K USD and the right to call themselves their area’s best Zero Build team.

Twitch Rivals has been teasing another significant Zero Build competition for the past few days. The teasers ultimately culminated in an official announcement, which included another $300K USD prize pool and a good deal of Twitch’s top creators. For North America, we can expect Team Tfue to defend their title as they pursue another sizable payday.
Schedule, Rules, Format, Scoring System
The tournament begins April 30 with the Europe and Latin American portions of the event, and North America follows on May 1. Twitch Rivals chose to stick with trios as the central format, considering the success of last month’s competition. Each region will see 33 teams enter for a shot at the $100K USD prize pool up for grabs.
Here is a complete overview of what to expect:
- Six custom matches
- No Tanks, Tents or Armored Battle Bus
- Teams earn points based on the scoring system below
- Victory Royale: 18 points
- 2nd-5th: 15 points
- 6th-10th: 12 points
- 11th-15th: 9 points
- 16th-20th: 6 points
- 21st-25th: 3 points
- Each Elimination: 1 point
Here is the prize pool distribution for all regions:
- 1st: $21,000 ($7,000 each)
- 2nd: $15,000 ($5,000 each)
- 3rd: $10,500 ($3,500 each)
- 4th: $8,250 ($2,750 each)
- 5th: $6,750 ($2,250 each)
- 6th-10th: $3,000 ($1,000 each)
- 11th-15th: $1,500 ($500 each)
- 16th-20th: $1,200 ($400 each)
- 21th-25th: $900 ($300 each)
- 26th-33rd: $600 ($200 each)
Additionally, the player that compiles the most eliminations in each region will add another $700 USD to their earnings.

While content creators will occupy much of the field, Twitch Rivals provides a chance for you to compete. The Twitter post added instructions regarding how to earn a spot in the tournament. You’ll need to reply to the tweet above with a Fortnite clip and fill out the linked form to be eligible. Refer to the tweet above and the relevant links for more information.
