Atlus leaker: SEGA’s Crazy Taxi and Jet Set reboots are GaaS, also remakes in development

The Atlus leaker who correctly announced the recent Persona games and remake has taken to X to talk a little about SEGA’s upcoming Crazy Taxi and Jet Set Radio games. The leaker says that both games are games as a service games much like Fortnite with live events and special collaborations etc. That’s not all, as both Jet Set Radio and Crazy Taxi games will also get dedicated remakes as well as the reboots. SEGA is said to be looking at both Grand Theft Auto V Online and Fortnite for inspiration. Hopefully SEGA will reveal more soon.

Fortnite and GTA Online are some of the main inspiration for the current Sega super game plan. Sega wants to be competitive in the live service scene and use classic IPs in new ways with new technologies.

Jet Set reboot has graffiti and shooting gameplay and open world concept with exploration as focus. There are new characters and story too.
