Oddin Seeks USA Esports Betting Expansion, New Licenses

27

Oddin has announced that it intends to develop and enhance its presence across North America with its latest strategic move. The esports data provider already holds licenses in Ontario, New Jersey and Colorado, but it has announced that it is actively pursuing licenses to operate in eight more states across the US.

That includes three states that the company has called “key states” in its press release: Ohio, Maryland and Kansas.

To assist the company in obtaining those licenses required to facilitate the expansion of services across North America, Oddin has partnered with Bill Pascrell III.

Who is Bill Pascrell III?

Mr Pascrell III is a New Jersey native who is a partner at the Princeton Affairs Group Inc. and a graduate of the Harvard Kennedy School.

He has served as a Counsel to the Governor of New Jersey, Passaic County Counsel and has also been an advisor to senior political figures such as John Kerry, Cory Booker, Frank Lautenberg and Jon Corzine.

His experience within the legal profession regarding the expansion and regulation of betting in the USA will be hugely beneficial for Oddin according to CEO and co-founder of Oddin Vlastimil Venclik.

“Our pursuit of additional state licenses, in partnership with Bill marks a significant advancement in our mission,” Mr. Venclik stated.

“We’re not just growing our footprint; we’re innovating and enhancing the esports betting experience, setting new industry standards. This expansion reflects our dedication to providing engaging, reliable and compliant betting services to esports enthusiasts across the United States.”

“We’re excited about what the future holds and are committed to being at the forefront of this rapidly evolving market. We strive to be the leading force dispelling the misconceptions surrounding esports betting and vigilant guardian of the integrity not just in NA but globally.”

“Trailblazers in the Esports Betting Market”

Mr Pascrell III was equally happy about his partnership with Oddin remarking:

“It is an honor for me to be retained by the number one choice for esports betting: Oddin. I will be assisting them as outside counsel with licensing and regulatory compliance in North America.”

Vlastimil Venclick, CEO and co-founder and Marek Suchar, Managing Director and co-founder are trailblazers in the esports betting market.

“Vlastimil and Marek have tremendous reach and the best odds feed and risk management as a major B2B provider.”

“The recent decision to expand the reach into the North American market by pursuing faster licensing in more jurisdictions in the United States has generated incredible interest in the ever-growing esports betting market.”

Expanding but Fragmented Markets in the US

Sports and esports betting in the USA are expanding rapidly, although still fragmented in regulatory terms. This can make the acquisition of licenses difficult for providers without the experience of someone like Mr Pascrell III.

But with the US betting market projected to generate around $10 billion by the year 2025, it is a market where companies like Oddin are increasingly likely to focus their attention.
