Healthy Gamers and Evil Geniuses announce new partnership

Healthy Gamer has announced its new partnership with Evil Geniuses in support of its Dota 2 team. The North American Esport Organization.

The co-founder and president of the platform, Dr Alok Kanojia will therefore serve as Mindset and Performance Coach for The International 10.

The two parties did not collaborate for the first time. Dr. Kanojia was a member of the squad earlier in 2021 during the Singapore Major and the Weplay AniMajor, which were both second in the organisation.

Danny Engels, Evil Geniuses’ Director of Gaming Excellence, remarked on the collaboration in a release: “There is no solution at Evil Geniuses. What we are next, how we can develop and how we get our teams to the next level are continually pushed for. That’s why we got Dr. K and Healthy Gamer’s coaching support.

“Dr. K has helped millions of players worldwide – and himself – to play the Mindset and Performance Coach role for us. If you’ve gained expertise and technology, teamwork and performance under pressure are champions and Dr. K’s helped our team achieve the next level.”

Through a range of coaching programmes, Healthy Gamer helps esports players and creators of content deal with burnout, impostor syndrome and toxicity in the media.

Dr. Kanojia, Healthy Gamer Founder said as well, “As a DOTA 2 nerd and a major Evil Geniuses fan, it was a fantastic experience to be part of their journey. Evil Geniuses are not merely their victories. They’ve never ceased inventing and pushing the industry ahead.

“The mental side of games is as vital as skills and I’m proud that they accept mental santé and empower the individual and the team, together with Evil Geniuses DOTA 2. Your leadership in the field of mental health is an example to the rest of the sporting business.
